Jesus to the nations.

Jesus Revival Go was established in 2010 under the name House of the Good News of Jesus Christ (HJC). Originally starting with a safehouse for trafficked women and their children.

In the years before that our founders Wenzel and Sharon Beukes were reaching out to prostitutes, the homeless, addicts and refugees on the streets of Pretoria, South Africa. Being missionaries they both have a heart for the nations.

When God called them to open a safehouse for women he also miraculously provided a large property. A beautiful orange farm where women could recover, develop a relationship with Jesus and rebuild their lives. As they healed further their children would come live on the farm as well.

The story of the farm is a great testimony of God’s hand upon this ministry!

During those years many volunteers from all over the world came to help. We also hired farm workers, two of them from Malawi. They were the connection God used for a second call to Malawi. Mainly to help vulnerable and orphaned children. But the Gospel transformed a whole community. We quickly began to see an entire village and area developing and getting blessed.

Jesus Revival Go works mainly through local people so the ministry always continues. This intercultural process is slow, but the progress is real!

In 2016 our founders became the pastors of Jesus Revival church in the Netherlands, where Sharon is from. Since then they have been taking mission groups to Malawi, South Africa and many other nations.

Pastor Wenzel has been invited by churches worldwide, some of them having large platforms on TV stations that reach millions. When he ministers God works powerfully through healing and deliverance.

One of those nations is Uganda. In 2023 an Islamic State (IS) group attacked a Christian school in Mpondwe, a border town. 42 people were massacred, 38 children died in a horrific way - they were hacked to death and burned in a fire. Some were kidnapped and never seen since.

Our founders travelled to Mpondwe to offer support to the parents. They marvelled at their stories of survival, faith and forgiveness. There is no justice, national or international, for these families. The threat of terror remains. This is another area of ministry Jesus Revival Go aims to move more into.

Pastor Wenzel has since visited and ministered in North Nigeria, where 3 million Christians were forced to flee their homes and villages because of terror. On a daily basis our Christian brothers and sisters are being murdered.

The support of the persecuted church has become an important mission of Jesus Revival Go.
